One woman went up a mountain with the help of a child

We always appreciate it when we hear back from individuals taking part in our outings and events about how the experiences have had an impact on them.

We do what we do for the people we’re working with because we believe in the power of nature and reconnecting with her. We are all part of nature. We are one but due to modern, consumeristic life, we have become disconnected from nature, from ourselves and each other. Sharing outdoor experiences as a group, with each other, helps us remember these connections as well as our true selves.

Hear from Jola, one of our Lowland Expedition Leaders in training, talk about her time in Breamish Valley helping to lead a group of women and children from the Angelou Centre up the hills.
